Desk Buddies

   I think about religious icons, relics and develop my own spiritual cosmological lexicon. Desk Buddies are inspired by graceful 1920's porcelain figurines of beach revelers I found in a flea market and the incredible 1st-2nd century A.D. Roman small terracotta, ceramic and marble statuettes I studied at the MET in NYC. ​At 6 years old a neighbor gave me a special porcelain figurine, that sparked an entire created universe in my mind. now I am finally creating my own.
