Desk Buddies

Desk Buddies are inspired by graceful 1920's porcelain figurines of beach revelers I found in a flea market in Brussels, Belgium and the incredible 1st-2nd century A.D. Roman terracotta Gladiator statuette I saw at the MET in NYC. I've collected small special porcelain figurines since early childhood, now I am finally creating my own. I made these out of clay and painted them with acrylics.
